For crying out loud UDOT, stop ignoring us!!! When are you going to get the picture that this poorly designed intersection is dangerous and needs fixed!? This intersection plays host to an accident at least monthly, get out here and fix the problem that YOU created before someone dies.

I have said it once, I will say it again. While there is probably a need, I have witnessed far too many stupid moves on people trying to squeeze in where they shouldn't here. I have had someone pull out in front of me from that road when no one is behind me. Feel free to petition for a light, but those accidents are 90% impatience and stupidity on the part of the driver pulling out.

Easy for you to say if you don't have to use this intersection multiple times a day. Its the only one on redwood with no turn lane. And the hill on the north makes it very hard to see southbound traffic. Add the fact that no obeys the speed limit and it becomes a very nasty intersection.

Thank you for taking time to contact UDOT with your concerns about the intersection of Redwood Road and Ring Road. In coordination with Saratoga Springs City, this intersection is a planned location for a future traffic signal. We anticipated that this signal would be installed in 2018 when we widen Redwood Road from Pioneer Crossing going south in Saratoga Springs. Due to the population growth and rapid development in the area, we are currently working with the City to determine whether installing the signal sooner is possible. Several steps must be taken to make this determination, including identifying funds and evaluating what intersection improvements are needed. We are starting design engineering for the 2018 widening project and will take a close look at this intersection immediately.

A decision about whether a signal is built in advance of the 2018 project will be made by the end of this year.

When and where can we offer input or follow the latest updates on that decision?
