There is a dog at 6 Gerry Street that has been barking for over half an hour now. It barks continuously for well over an hour every day. It is left outside on a deck and barks at the sliding glass doors constantly. It back for over two hours late yesterday afternoon.
if you could take a ride over there and speak to the owner it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much.

I will re-open this to allow the proper athority a chance to respond and close it. I know him as a level headed person and may, or maybe already has spoken to the dog or the owner. After reading these posts, the dog owner may have already taken care of the issue herself. She may not have realized the disturbance her dog was causing. I have not heard the dog barking in the last few days.

I am so disappointed to read some of the negative comments on this post. The original poster seemed to mean no harm other than reporting a disturbance. However, those that are threatening to spy on Jean or are making comments when you don't even live on the street should be ashamed. I am a former resident of Gerry Street and close family friend of Jean. I never remember her dogs disturbing the neighborhood, but if you had simply knocked on her door and asked her in a kind, neighborly way, I am sure she would have understood. The sad thing is you don't even know her.
If you knew Jean, you would know that she cares for her elderly, disabled mother. If you knew Jean, you would know that she is raising two beautiful children who are respectful, smart, and loving. If you knew Jean, you would know that she goes above and beyond for so many of her neighbors, doing things to help them. I could tell you so many stories about the kind of caring neighbor she is to at least 5 families on Gerry Street, including mine when we lived there. If you knew Jean, you would know that she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, even if she had nothing herself. If you knew Jean, you would know she watches her nieces' child out of the goodness of her heart because they can't afford daycare. And this is WHILE she watches her elderly mom who is very sick and needs full time nursing care. If you knew Jean, you would know that these comments hurt her deeply because she loves her animals and her family. If you knew her like I did, you would be a better person for it. BUT, you don't, and sadly, you don't care to get to know her or approach her about something that you could speak to her about Face-to-face.
It is cowardly to hide behind a computer and threaten to spy on your neighbor. You are a bully if you make mean comments when you don't even know the person or their situation.
So next time, maybe consider the old fashion way of communicating instead of doing it online. The computer brings out the ugliness in some of us, doesn't it? It's sad really.
So if you ever run into Jean, I hope you try to get to know her because it will be you who is lucky.
