The recycle bin at the south school grounds has been overflowing for a while.

I am posting this to the Town Administrator, because you can see by the posts attached here, that the school department does not see fit to respond or acknowledge any complaints.

They have just redone all the curb stones on Summer Street by the South School.

When replacing the curb stones, they did not include any crosswalks in front of the South School. There used to be two crosswalks there and now the nearest crosswalks are at the corner of Main Street or down the road at Pine Street. Anyone in a wheelchair or with a stroller would have difficulty getting over the curb at South School.

The next step on Summer Street is the final Paving. Should this be addressed before that happens?

The crosswalks at the South Elementary School have become so bad they're not visible by drivers.

There were originally two crosswalks in the area, but one was marked with a big 'NO-X' as not to be repainted this spring because it did not meet code. It was painted white anyway along with the legitimate one. It was then painted over black. The black partially wore away leaving a barely visible white crosswalk. The legitimate crosswalk has also worn away so bad it is barely visible.

With all the construction on Summer Street, there is barely anything left of either crosswalk. This is directly in front of the South School and are the only crosswalks in the area. During the few hours the crossing guards are there it is not as much of a problem. However parents and children use this play area all day long and on weekends and need a crosswalk available.

For safety reasons, please make this a priority to get a visible crosswalk installed here.

There is a dog at 6 Gerry Street that has been barking for over half an hour now. It barks continuously for well over an hour every day. It is left outside on a deck and barks at the sliding glass doors constantly. It back for over two hours late yesterday afternoon.
if you could take a ride over there and speak to the owner it would be greatly appreciated!

There are two large sections of pavement that have been dug up and have left large gravel pits in front of 17 Summer Street. Cars are constantly driving on the wrong side of the road to avoid them, causing a serious hazard. Residents are constantly raking and sweeping the gravel back into these pits to help prevent the annoying thump that goes on all night long. If you could secure this hazard or get this on the list of repairs to be made it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The DPW did a great job keeping up with pothole patching this past winter. A couple potholes in front of 17 and 25 Summer St have pounded out. Is there something more permanent that could be used now that the weather is warmer?
