I pay ALL bills electronically through my banks bill pay feature. If a company (Town of Stoneham) doesn't accept electronic payment, my bank sends them a check. You just have to allow for more time for processing. Maybe 5 days vs the normal 1 or 2. Also, the town's website has a pay your bill online feature now. Go to www.stoneham-ma.gov. The link is on the left side on the home page. I haven't used this feature though so I don't know how user friendly it is. It may be more beneficial to you though to search for bills that are due and give you a total due if you haven't received your paper bill due to being out of town.

Thanks Scott, That's all cool. I use a bank to send checks for payments also when I know how much the invoice is. I'm looking to receive my Tax, Water & Excise Bills electronically from the town. Just think how much money our town could save on Postage, Envelopes, Paper & Labor. We'd all benefit in the long run :-)

Yes. The town now uses Invoice Cloud for their online bill payment system. There is a link on our town website www.stoneham-ma.gov (go to Citizen Action Center on the left of the home page and click on Pay Bills Online) that will enable residents to register and elect to have their bills emailed and/or mailed. You can schedule payments and also schedule to receive notifications. If you have any questions you can call the Treasurers Office directly at 781-279-2660 and they can walk them through it.
