This catch basin was cleaned in June 2013. There is a known capacity problem in this area, and a large puddle forms around the catch basin during heavy rain, only to disappear within an hour of the rain ceasing. The problem will be permanently solved when the sewers are separated at a future date when funding is available.The lateral from the catch basin to the trunk sewer will be jetted in the next few weeks in an attempt to try to reduce the problem, but it will not cure it.
