I was traveling on CAT route #4 to downtown (saturday 7/9/2011) and I noticed this.

Pine needles clogging a storm drain

Regular Street Flooding Due to Regularly Clogged Drain

There is Pine Needles clogging the storm drain, the company whose pine needles are clogging the drain needs to be held accountable for this regular occurance (by preventing the pine needles from clogging the drain)

Request for a Legal Opinion from the Raleigh City Attorney about anoymous posting on the SeeClickFix website:

As (I beleve that) making a false report to a public official is illegal, how does the ability of anoymous person(s) to make false reports to the city of Raleigh via the SeeClickFix website square against state law(s) ?

and if those person(s) and/or SeeClickFix's website were (are) in another state other than NC would not that open up those making false reports (or SeeClickFix) to Federal Charges (a crime crossing state lines)

and can the city of Raleigh block anoymous reports so to avoid illegal activity using the SeeClickFix website (false reporting to target a group of people for example)

(those making false reports anoymously with fake names and/or fake e-mail addresses would make taking legal action against them difficult)

this is about the #106331 Parks / Trails anoymous post that I beleve is SLANDER / LIBEL against poor people

as there is a Police Station and a Fire Station and police and Sheriff driving by to/from the Wake County Jail the odds of the complaint of so-called homeless people sleeping in Nash Square is prima facie Slander / Libel

as the number of pedestrians crossing here do not rise to the level of having a ped signal at departure dr, could the city install a crosswalk with ped crossing signs ?

2 W11-2 signs (one W11-2 sign in each direction),
with R9-2 and/or R9-3a and/or R9-3b signs (to encourage ped's to use the ped crossing)

When I wait for the CAT 29c bus, I see lots of people crossing E Millbrook Rd (to and from the corner convenience store across from where they live)
this looks to me like a ped fatality waiting to happen,
perhaps if you had a way to video tape the area (say over a week) the city would have a better view of the number of people crossing here

CAT Info LED Sign is malfunctioning:

Wrong time, Scrolling part is stuck
(not moving) Ie it does not show when the bus is going to arrive

3 Lights Burnt-Out under parking garage in Moore Sq. Transit Station:

1 - Over Red Zone
1 - Over City Vehicle Parking Area
(Across from Red Zone)
1 - Over CAT Supervisor / Police Parking Area
(Walkway to S Wilmington St)

At least one of these is flickering, and when it is on it is the warning 'blue' color (a regular working light's color is a yellowish-white)

Ped. Signal Needed (Lots of Jaywalkers east of signal) to be added here

Signal Facing Post Office needs adjusting (last time I went to the Post Office, when I was waiting for the ped. signal I noticed that it was out of alignment to the point that I had difficulty seeing the ped. signal) Signal in question is on Northwest corner of intersection (the one that faces pedestrians on the Northeast corner walking Westward towards Kroger)

Overgrown Trees blocking Pedestrian Signals (I saw this when I was on the 23c bus last Saturday) , and they need to be trimmed back

Saturday Moore Square Pickup is too early, thus causing the trash cans to overflow; (Moore Square across the street from Salvation Army) Pickup at this location on Saturdays needs to be at or after 3PM or a second wheeled trash can placed here (at one time there was three trash cans here - one park style and two wheeled trash cans that are picked up by the 'trash can one armed bandit trucks')

Missing W10-1 Sign
(Railroad Crossing Advance Sign)
for eastbound E Millbrook Rd approaching the RR Xing (W3-3 - Signal Ahead (symbol) Sign for Atlantic Av Intersection needs to be moved to other side (East) of Railroad Crossing to make room for the W10-1 Sign)

There is a ongoing trash problem at the
CAT outbound 2 / 25c bus top shelter
(a small CAT trash can that is bolted to the CAT bus stop sign post would fix this)
While I was waiting for the bus yesterday (Thursday June 10th) the lawn company picked up the trash, but if there was a trash can then people could pick up and through the trash into it.
