There is a "Festival of Nations" sign that needs to be removed from
the triangle in front of the McDonald's (corner of South Pearl Street and
Madison Avenue). It has been there for weeks advertising an event that
took place at the end of October. That corner is a very high traffic area
and failing to remove a sign that has been there for weeks after an event
makes it look like the neighborhood is not taken care of properly.

I know it may be the event organizer's responsibility to remove the sign,
however, when trash is picked up it should have been removed weeks ago.

A quick note. I travel Madison Ave 3 times a week up near St Rose and road road conditions there are terrible. It is a mine field. Is there a way of getting it paved before winter.

The patching is falling apart that the city has done;it needs to be patched better or paved

Two houses on Stephen Street (#14 and # 20) are vacant run down abandoned houses which are used by the local riff raff to gather and drink and smoke. They leave all their crap behind. The weeds are overgrown. The windows of #20 have been shot at by BB guns by a kid in the neighborhood. These 2 house need to be cleaned up and the loitering needs to stop,

Is it possible to have a picnic table or bench put into the park at the end of Carpenter Avenue (off O'Connell Street). In the past there's been a picnic table in the park but someone always steals it. Perhaps it could be chained to a pole to prevent theft. My husband is disabled from a stroke and heart attack and when take the baby we babysit for to the park there's no place for him to sit.

Called for DGS to clean up the 376 property a week ago. No one has come to clean it up. Has called before and they told him that it takes time and they would get to it. So He was calling again to re-complain that no one has taken care of the weeds and Trash outside of the residence.
