On 3.28 Carmen called
On 3.30 Dennis called her and forwarded to Rob Magee to handle
Carmen Masters said that she has gone through the courts about what she has to do with her property at 393 Clinton Ave. But she said that after she went to the courts about the property and was told what she had to do she she got a notice from Codes saying she had to register the property, but that the court said she didn’t have to do that. She was angry and hard to understand. The upshot was that she said she didn’t have to register the property.Does she have to register the property? And can someone there handle it? 914-233-7447.

Trash Pick-Up Archived604 Providence St. - Buckingham Lake-CrestwoodOn Wednesday 3/16, I reported a continuous trash problem at 604 Providence St. The city inspector responded the next day 3/17, phoned the absentee landlord telling him to clean up the area and secure proper garbage cans with secure lids. Later that day the landlord responded by having the garbage returned to the cans and rearranged the trash items in the back yard. The attached photos show these same garbage cans again spilled over this morning with the contents again spilling into my yard. This is a repeat of the same dance between me, the city and the absentee landlord for the last several years. The city responds but does not fix the problem.
Is it possible for the City to enforce the City Code and have the landlord install adequate size receptacles with attached lids? What exists today is a waste of city manpower having to respond neighborhood complaints, a waste of my time, an unhealthy environment, a degrading of another Albany neighborhood and an landlord who does care.
I am asking for a meaningful response.

Unhappy with the trash fee
Person who called/stopped in: Anonymous
Organization: City Resident
Phone number: Not provided
Message: This was a landlord complaining about the trash fee and said it was not fair for the City to charge the fee, If the city does go through with it, she will raise the rent on each floor by $100. She said the fee should directly apply to the tenants. She was also not happy about the assessment on her properties, properties that were in the “low income” part of the city. -
