There are numerous issues of broken sidewalks in and around driveways in Glenwood a South, a heavy pedestrian area. The neighborhood requests that the City notify the property owners to make the necessary repairs.
Property owners should not be allowed to allow sidewalks to fall into such blatant disrepair. There is minimal incentive to fix it. The city should consider new ways to handle this. Perhaps a tax deduction for capital expenditures associated with quasi-public improvements (i.e. shared public sidewalks).
