There is no way to avoid the high water levels because if you drive down Vale st. between Carter and the Parkway, the road is flooded too. I do not know who is in charge of Vale st., near the new construction.

I agree this is a fairly new problem, and it's flooding faster and faster, deeper and deeper

This is not an issue at on Vale Street at all. This is an issue directly underneath route 1 at Carter Street. It’s progressively getting worse and being completely ignored by the city. This is a problem that has been growing in size for the last 15 months. I did check myself today to confirm and there is in fact a drain there that obviously needs to be seriously cleaned. I hope it is rectified ASAP!

Here we go again. Carter Street is flooding again and absolutely zero action by the city.

Over night Sunday morning and both sides of carter street flooded.

This has to be a major issue, costly or the city would have addressed it.

Hydrant flushing about 3 hours ago and road is still flooded. Sidewalk is completely impassable at the Carter Street off ramp. When will this be addressed? Kids go to school in a few hours, what sidewalk should they use?

This is where the water should be draining into.

RH WHITE (water and sewer) has been cleaning catch basins at requested location on 11/21/18. We hope it will solve the problem. We are still monitor it in the future.
