Description
Lack of a sidewalk along Cohen at the Cottage Grove Park forces pedestrians into the street to access Park. A proper sidewalk needs to be put in connecting the existing one from the north and the pedestrian bridge over I-10.

There is an existing sidewalk on the abutting privite property. The issue is that there is no connecting sidewalk on the Cities public property or right of way in this City owned and maintained Park. Its evidently clear from the photo, especially when wet after rains, that pedestrians are forced out into the street to to access the Park from the north. From the south the current sidewalk is clearly (per photo) broken that terminates in a mudhole and is clearly on City owned Park property.
That the Katy freeway feeder road terminates at the Park without proper warning to motorists is another safety issue that compounds the negilgence for safety on the Cities part.
Who is is making these decisions to "resolve"and close these cases without even seeing the described issue first hand?
It is demonstrably eveident that the issue of no or incomplete/broken sidewalk is solely on City of Houston Public Park property.
This also falls under an ADA access issue to public proprty.
