I ask the city place three (3) green trash receptacles at this location do deal with this need for
enough trash receptacles so people have enough receptacles to throw away all of the trash on saturdays (not counting the blue recycling receptacle)

Thanks for reporting. I have referred this issue to our Parks and Recreation Department staff. When they have responded I will update this issue.

Are these groups that have services and feed people at Moore Square required to have a special permit or pay fees to rent the park? It's intimidating to be on the East side of the park when they are there. Thanks.

I appreciate the love and kindness of the Churches; in fact I have donated to the Shepherd's Table and the Healing Place for many years. My concern is these folks have taken over a park in my neighborhood. The park is regularly trashed and others have to come in and clean behind them. A young person I know recently had a knife pulled on him and his debit card stolen in that area. I have picked up their beer cans, their cigarette butts, their food wrappers and their dirty toilet paper. They have threatened my safety in my home. I know the lady that runs the Church in the Woods lives in a nice subdivision in Garner. My suggestion is that you take some of our homeless folks out to your neighborhood and feed and clothe them there.

It turns out this was a receptacle for a private business. The business owner needs to contact our Solid Waste Services Department for a replacement.
