Apartments at 1315 Filmore leave their recycling bins on the curb all week. And as a bonus, there are what looks like someone was evicted and there's a pile of belongings on the curb... Again. Can the property manager *please* take care of these issues consistently?

Hi Glenwoodian,
I get email updates whenever something is posted in this area, and have noticed that you post quite often. While I think it is great that you are concerned about keeping the area looking nice, it seems like much of what you post could be avoided by simply having a kind conversation with the person(s) who are committing the apparent violations. That would really help the city because it would build additional relationships among neighbors as well as prevent the city from having to send people out to check on very minor infractions (which, as I am sure you have noticed, are not actually infractions at all most of the time). You will notice that there are a number of things that are simply not being done, or are behind schedule because there is not enough manpower available. Perhaps more manpower would be freed up if city employees did not have to chase down so many minor infractions that could be avoided by having a simple, kind, conversation with the apparent violator. I have always thought, if someone is not willing to first have that kind of conversation, perhaps the issue is not as important as it seems.
Thanks!
John
