Deskripsyon

Ellington Road between Clark Street and Pierce Road needs to be widened by fixing cracked surface and extending surface so that at least 4 feet of shoulder is in place. This small .3 of mile stretch has hundreds of cyclists, pedestrians and cars sharing a deficient road surface creating a dangerous situation.

This is on a very frequently used bike route that starts in Manchester and goes through South Windsor.
and needs to be improved to be safe.

Large volumes of vehicles travel at high speeds on Ellington Road and the connection between Clark St and Pierce Rd is important for cyclists. Fixing the surface and 4' shoulders at this location will help everyone safely share the road.

This is a much used piece of road that allows cyclist to get from the Buckland Hills shopping area or the center of South Windsor to the more rural areas in the north of South Windsor, East Windsor and Ellington. Fixing this small stretch should be a high priority.

I'm glad this section of road is being reviewed. When there is insufficient biking shoulder it forces the bicycist into the road, thus creating a dangerous situation. Hopefully something can be done.
