I’ve raised concerns with the HOA and they say they have contacted the owner, but no action is taken on his part to address the issue. The house is vacant and the owner doesn’t acknowledge nor action the request from his HOA to address the issue.
Not only are the incessant alarms going off a nuisance, but this false alarm poses a very real threat to the development and poses a threat to others even outside the development. If a real fire is happening in his or another person’s house, it will be ignored as all will assume it’s his smoke alarms that are going off. His false alarms can detract from action in case of a real emergency.
