  • Drainage Acknowledged
6003 Hamman St Houston 77007, United States - Rice Military
Ditches do NOT drain the water! Proper storm sewers need to be installed, current infrastructure is insufficient. Water is inside my home. This happens very often even under minimal rain. Please. Please stop making our homes flood. Please finally fix this issue at our intersection! We have all reported it countless numbers of times and even appeared on the news several times. Please finally fix this. It’s been long enough of this simple fix being avoided.
  • City Engineer Acknowledged
6003 Hamman St Houston 77007, United States - Rice Military
The ditches constantly overflow and flood our homes at this intersection. The city has acknowledged there is poor infrastructure but has not done anything to remedy our constant flooding during minimal rain. We have reported this constant issue innumerable amounts of times with not attempt to remedy water entering our homes from the lack of water flow in the drains.
  • Flooding Acknowledged
6003 Hamman St Houston 77007, United States - Rice Military
Street constantly floods due to poor infrastructure. Drainage ditches in front of home do not connect to ditch across the street and causes a backup of water and flooding of homes at this intersection. Water currently inside home. This is constant even with minimal rain. I have repeatedly report on here and to news stations and the city still has yet to acknowledge and fix the constant unnecessary flooding here!
  • Flooding Acknowledged
1220 Malone St Houston, TX 77007, USA - Rice Military
Any significant amount of rain causes serious flooding at the intersection of Malone and Schuler. Road/drainage not graded properly, and water doesn't flow to the proper drainage ditches. This causes this intersection to flood more than some of the others in the immediate vicinity.
  • EXTREME FLOODING Acknowledged
1603 Cohn Street Houston, Texas - Rice Military

6001 Tyne St Houston, TX 77007, USA - Rice Military
Water quickly rose and went into multiple houses. This is the third time in 4 years my house has flooded. There is a serious drainage problem in this area that COH has admitted to in previous discussions with COH but nothing has been done yet.

There are no storm sewer drains west of my cross street and the area normals rains flow to my house and a handful of my neighbors. Our homes very often flood in an area that does not flood, due to poor design and lack of storm sewers. The closest one is blocks away and is too small to carry the amount of water since development has increased in the area. My neighbors and I are tired of constantly having our garages covered in water and would like to not have to freak out and rush home every time we hear the word rain. The opposite end of our block does not get water above the street level. The opposite side of our intersection does not have ditches that fill with water. There is a very major poor design issue at this intersection that needs to be immediately addressed so myself and my sweet unlucky neighbors can stop consistently flooding! I have several more photos from various dates. Please contact me, do not dismiss this, I have reported it several times, just to be told there's not an issue yet I continue to keep flooding on normal rainy days. Yes, there is an issue.
