Damaged Drain - City retaining wall Archived1257 Lansdowne Avenue Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThe City repaired the retaining wall almost 2 years ago and in the process sealed and destroyed two of the retaining wall storm water drains citing that they were "downspouts". These drains have been un repaired for over a year and a half despite constant calls and escalation. Joseph Lapena, the project manager, is nowhere to be found even after voicemails. There is a rising concern as new families and 3 seniors in there 90's live in houses on the wall and storm water will pool and often freeze in the winter making it dangerous and causing damage in front of the homes.

Large long"furrow" in driving lane ArchivedDufferin At Davenport Toronto, ON - TorontoThere is a large furrow of pavement in the northbound lane of Dufferin St. at the Davenport bus stop. This can cause a motorcycle to crash because its at least curb height and about 2 metres long. Its invisible at night. It causes the motorcycle's front wheel turn off line violently.

Ticketing At Hidden Hydrant Archived30/28 Yarmouth Road Toronto, ON - Toronto
Set halfway back. Obstructed by fencing and framing and plant growth. "No reasonable prospect of conviction" per prosecutor but they keep ticketing anyway knowing it's so much trouble to fight. [I have pics I could attach to an email if you give me one.]
Adam Vaughan is our councillor and he seems to have minimal interest in this and zero influence over the ticketers.

95 Regal Rd Toronto, ON M6H 2J6, Canada - Toronto98 year old 'heritage designation' school building has been claimed by destructive vandals. There is tagging on brick, on sandstone, on windows (glass), and on the doors. (also on the children's climbers which the community helped put in place). They even climbed up on scaffolding (in place as there is work ongoing to improve the integrity of the building) to do some at the front on brick and sandstone.

Sad case of Willowvale Lane Archived54 Yarmouth Rd Toronto, Ontario - Torontofor 10 years I have been trying to get the city to renovate Willowvale Lane ( Christie & Dupont) and have been told it has been put off until next year. The lane is in terrible disrepair with multiple potholes, crumbling curbs. It is a busy thorough fare used daily by families on their way to work and school. I have been in contact with Mike Layton's office only to receive the same action as his predecessor, which was no action at all.

Erosion of hill and lane closure Archived1 Braemore Gardens - TorontoDuring the City strike in July 2009 a big rainstorm eroded most of the hill beside a lane at Christie north of Davenport. The lane was closed, the City put tarps on it 12 months later and there has been little else done except people looking at it with clipboards. There is little communication from the City on this, and it has been 16 months so far. We would like this repaired as the fence at the top of the hill and the guard rails along the lane are tipping forward due to lack of foundation, and it is an unsightly mess.

Crumbling staircase ArchivedVia Italia & Davenport Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThis staircase is conveniently located and a great place to get some exercise. It is, however, crumbling and sports a pretty orange pylon as a permanent fixture. If the fixer could get it fixed, that would be awesome.

Hill collapsing in Hillcrest Park Archived503-515 Christie St Toronto, ON M6G 2C7, Canada - TorontoThe area beside the park tennis courts has been eroding for some years because of water runoff from the courts. The Parks dept. put a fence around it. That's all. It needs to be fixed (the fence has been totally trampled), not barricaded.
