    How many more old growth wooded sites within the city will be raped of all its trees? Builders allowed the under 2 acres "rule" are changing the soil structure, decimating environmental habitats, causing major runoff, and adding to the heating/ global warming problems in Raleigh.
    We are the Capital, we should be an example to the rest of the state. Resources such as the Natural Sciences of State University, Environmental Engineering, Soil Sciences, Landscape Architecture, etc... are not even being utilized. This part of West Raleigh should be a showcase as one of the MAJOR gateways to the city and NCSU. This area holds some of the last old growth natural areas and should be preserved . Family lifestyles should be conserved and encouraged. Method road is a joke,and Westen Blvd. ignored for revitalization. We need community opportunities, gathering places, and beautiful green spaces. Shame on all the opportunists who care more about money than the communities
