Description
I moved here two months ago. At least twice a day, I cross Whalley at the intersection with Harrison to walk my dog. By the second day, I learned that I must wait for at least one car to go through the red light after the pedestrian light says walk before crossing. There has never been a time when a car did not go through the light. By the time the car goes through, there is typically 10 seconds left on the pedestrian signal. As a senior, it is extremely difficult for me to cross safely in that short a time. Since there is obviously nothing to be done about the numbers of cars running the light, please increase the time allotted for pedestrians to cross at the pedestrian signal.
