Description
From winter Ave at least to broad st. No one has cleared or treated their sidewalks. I am not going to walk in the street so instead I get to slip, nearly sprain my ankle and mess up my back. These people have had ample time to care of the sidewalks. The only ones that get cleared are the ones the city does and even those don't get treated.

Residents are required by both city code and Massachusetts State Law to clear the sidewalks in front of the properties. We are making efforts to ensure residents understand these laws and clear walking routes. However, it will take time to get the message out and any help via word of mouth would be most appreciated.
As far as the City clearing the sidewalks, we do try our best to make sure the crucial routes are clear. Treating and plowing are often separate operations and are subject to specific weather conditions. Please know that we try our best and work very hard to ensure safe walking routes for our residents.
I am going to close this issue now, because there should no longer be any snow on the sidewalks in question.
