204-206 Elm St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - DowntownWithout delineators/protection, this bike lane makes the road more dangerous for people on bikes than if it didn't exist at all. You can see in the picture how the woman biking in front of me is now squeezed between the truck and passing cars, and there is almost always a vehicle in the bike lane because of the dorms and the post office. It would be an inconvenience for a car to have to pass a vehicle parked in the car lane, but to someone on a bike it's terrifying to get squeezed because a vehicle is parked in the bike lane.

Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - EdgewoodBroken glass in the bike lane, delineators destroyed

269-281 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - WestvilleNext to a school and a park, this corner remains dangerous with drivers continually knocking down cones and destroying planters. The corner has been unprotected since the original planters were destroyed by drivers and now more are gone. Hard protection — like steel and concrete rather than wood and plastic — is needed to keep people safe on this corner. Please fix before a school kid is killed!

1296-1398 Townsend Ave New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Annexwould it be possible to get a bike lane for townsend ave. With warmer weather coming townsend and Woodward aves will be major routes to parks and the beach. There is no good bike infrastructure over in east shore.

Drainage RequestOpen85 Derby Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - West RiverDerby Ave at Norton st .the City installed these stupid delineators and the sweepers can't even clean the drain !! How about thinking about this before you install them ,most of them are missing anyways.what a waste of tax payer money

167–199 Canal St New Haven CT 06511, United States - DixwellThis machine has been blocking the entirety of the bike trail for a number of days. Very uncool to rob pedestrians and cyclists of one of their designated areas.Cut

121 Elm St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Downtown
The Safe Routs for All plan used crash data, % of intersections w/o crosswalks, etc. to prioritize the most dangerous neighborhoods.
This was not one of them....but it shows the city's real priorities.

278-398 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - WestvilleA driver drove through the unprotected bike lane and destroyed the park fence. Fence replacement and hard protection for the bike lane on Yale is needed.
-
592 Whitney Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Prospect HillOn Sunday I was hit by a driver who fled the scene on Whitney avenue. Can the city please install hard barriers such as bollards, jersey barriers or Toronto barriers as bike lane delineators along this stretch of Whitney ave. Whitney is functionally 6 lanes wide so a dedicated bus/bike lane would improve transportation and safety for all road users.

601-725 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - WestvilleAn new plan is needed here. Drivers keep using the bike lane for driving and parking. Delineators keep getting broken and create more trash, cost more money. The cycletrack has been a decade in the making (still unfinished). Hard protection is obviously needed.

Brownell St & Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - EdgewoodNeed real protection in this painted bike lane buffer area. A car drove into the bike lane to make a left at Brownell to avoid traffic on edgewood without checking their mirror and forced me into the curb while I was legally continuing straight in the bike lane. I had to reach out and hold onto the car's trunk to avoid falling underneath the car and getting run over. The car kept on going and was completely oblivious to the threat they made on my life. If there were barriers between the bike and car lanes then this could have been prevented
