Endlessly at night there is gang and drug vile activity all over the shurtleff st and belling ham st area from the library to all the way past the shurtleff children’s school. Men starting fights, women in drug dazes rambling uncontrolably, obvious drug dealings on each corner, people obviously smokin crack from crack pipes while walking down the street, others nodding off then stumbling away like zombies, not one police officer ever to be found patrolling. This area needs police men on foot stoping this nonsense. I’ve been posting here about this area for possibly a year now but that is in no way when it started. A heightened police presence would at least keep the sidewalks safe for pedestrians just going to and from work or whatever normal people have the right to do without feeling threatened in their own neighborhoods. it will keep this filth to at least where these people sleep. Especially with such a large force for such a small city This is rediculous. This is almost every night as long as it’s not pouring rain out so I’m sure they know about it. This needs to end.

This is regarding the baseball bat assault in admirals hill today. I left an anonymous tip on the Chelsea tip line aswell but thought I’d put his here aswell. At around 10.45 am thismorning I was on my way home from work when I was walking up Chester ave twords shurtleff st and I saw a large Hispanic male about 6ft tall and of a large build walking quite agressively down Chester ave tword hawethorn st. He had nothing but a metal bat in his hands and his mannerisms and walk gate had me worried enough to keep an eye and be ready to dodge as I walked by. This was at about 1045 am and the assault happened around 1130 I’m hearing so this seems like a good tip, if you have any cameras in that area I’d check the times between 1030 and 1130 in that area. The newly paved road on market st is in desperate need of speed bumps around the bend going twords beacon st, the old potholes used to serve this purpose but so far in the 3 days it’s been paved I’ve almost been wiped out twice walking too and from work, drivers are barreling down the street at 40 mph in full tractor trailers with no way to slow down if someone’s walking on the side. Some pedestrian walking signs and a sidewalk are needed aswell but speed bumps are in desperate need now the road is smooth and all the drivers feel it’s a safe road now

Once again 3 days in a row all night long groups of men on the corner of shurtleff st and Chester ave all night long. Selling drugs and harassing bystanders. They clearly aren’t from here or are recent to the area but it’s obvious. This is Definatly within 1000 feet of the shurtleff school and of the community college and should be monitored at all times if it’s like this. This area needs to be monitored constantly you can’t expext to fix it for a day and have the problem go away. You can’t expect the residents to call the police every time this occurs either because it’s constant unless it’s patrolled.

Past two days straight large groups of man dealing drugs all up and down shurtleff st, prostitution and drug dealing to junkies all night. No authority in sight. Why are there no patrols in these areas to stop this. It’s not a one time occurrence it’s daily. Kids live all around here and have to deal with this too, as well as elderly, I feel worse for them than myself. Children couldn’t be subjected to this in a school zone. Where do the children turn when the police won’t even help them?
