Thank you for reporting this issue. The company that was contracted to do the striping was unable to complete the job. With that, the the project had to be bid on again. The bid will close next week and another company will be selected to complete the job at that time. We hope to have the striping completed with in the next 2-3 weeks. In regards to Rock Prairie Rd, the city has to first aquire land along the road before making improvement. The land acquistion should be completed by Jan. 2014. After that the project will be bid up on for the the design work. The road will be widened along with other improvements. Also, the bridge at Rock Prairie Rd will have done it this summer as well as the intersection near bridge. Fore information, the City's Capital Improvement Dept has a list of approved projects, costs and timeline available on their web page.

After having ro re-bid the contract out for the striping project, another contractor was finally selected last week to complete striping project around the city. If the weather permits, it is planned for them to start striping this area of Rock Prairie Rd within in the next week.

Any updates as to when this will start?

The lane striping projects are being done around the city now that we have a new contractor to complete this project. We the striping for this area to be done within in the next week.
