Thanks for posting this. This dip has been getting worse and worse over the last year. I now actively avoid the right lane just to avoid this dip on my way home from work. I hear people bottoming out on it and you can see the damage on the pavement. It’s just a matter of time before something bad is going to happen to somebody in this spot, and they aren’t going to see it coming.

Sometime within the last week the city poured a slab of black asphalt into the dip in concrete road.
It’s definitely better than it was, but it does still dip. So TBA if that is a temporary solution.

It appears the city has tried to mask the problem by placing asphalt over the dip but it continues to settle and cause bad driving conditions. There is clearly a sub grade problem that needs addressing instead of just covering up.

I worry its a developing sink hole. The oddly placed 3-4 townhouses next to that part of the road all seem to be selling and terrain looks in bad shape too.
