Last year I had issues with those very same bills myself. I went into city hall twice to see why I was not receiving them and they blamed the post office and also imposed late fees on me.
I called the post office & went to the Chelsea branch to inquire about those "lost" items and they stated that all mail pieces were delivered to my house.
In the third trip to city hall I noticed that two other parties were seeking info as to why they weren't getting their bills.
Needless to say that after a few trips to city hall I started to receive paper invoices again...

I called a couple of times last year and was told that the bills were mailed. I told them that I am not receiving anything... the biggest problem is that if you don't pay by the due day, they slap on daily interest which isn't very fair, especially if the resident does pay their bills on time. They don't even provide a small grace period.

Referred to Treasurer for review.

Mr. Ambrosio. I called City Hall and left a message but was promply called back by a young lady and was told that it us my obligation to remember to pay my bills whether I receive a bill or not and was told basically to listen to the same thing and "let me talk, let me finish" by thus young lady. I was told to contact the post office...So, iit appears that the problem of not receiving bills is everybody else's problem except City Hall. But it becomes the taxpayers problem when interest charges are slapped on. I think people holding publuc servuce pisitions need to provide better customer service.

Mr. Ambrosio....on a better note, I want to send kudos for empmoyees like Phyllis. I have dealt with Phyllis in the past and she is always courteous, knowlegeable, helpful and always a consummate professional. Thank you retaining employees who truly earn their salary.
