Description
Desparately need more 25 MPH speed limit signs posted along Elm St between Murphy Circle and Columbia Tpk. The wide open road and no signs implies to many motorists that a 40 MPH speed is ok. Have complained to Florham Park many times and was promised new signs, so far nothing. Police presence with radar is effective only short-term, many repeat offenders travel this road. Thanks.

Nothing has been done, speeding incidents are increasing in frequency, especially between 8:30-9:00. Many drivers are still under the assumption that the limit increases when they hit the wide open area north of the public works site (traveling towards Columbia Tpk). Repeat offenders are still making illegal left-hand turns from Elm onto Columbia during the posted "No Left Turn 7-9 AM" sign. Others are making illegal right-hand turns from Col. Tpk onto Elm St. and then speed through to Ridgedale Ave (mostly late at night, 10 PM or later).
How about installing speed bumps along the entire Elm St. route, about every 500 ft? Other towns have done it and successfully reigned in speeders without disturbing the residents (when logically located).
