Depends on the state. Decades ago CT and NY had reciprocal traffic ticket enforcement.

There were 4 cars on Bradley Street yesterday afternoon that had been ticketed, 3 were warnings, one was a $35 ticket. There were 5 ticketed cars on Eld Street, 3 were warnings and 2 were $35 tickets. At first I thought the warnings were for cars that had expired residential parking permits as opposed to none at all, but that did not hold true for all of them. Warnings for illegal parking? Please explain.

You might need to direct your query to the folks who handle records for our city's TT&P and the NHPD. Also, you may need to submit a FOIA request.

How do you know they were giving a warning?

Feel free to go look at the car/can. It’s still there with the same warning ticket.

Parking enforcement personnel investigated this issue and issued citations to all vehicles found in violation. We are closing this issue, but if the problem persists please generate a new request with verified information and details. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Nothing will be done about non east rock residents parking in east rock.

It says "WARNING, $0 DUE" right on the ticket.

TT&P, why did you close this with no reply as to how a decision is made to issue a warning versus a ticket? As a resident and taxpayer, I'd like to know. Thank you.
