Description
Tired of driving on the opposite of the road with everyone else to avoid all of these cold patched water/sewer and gas hookups. About a 50 foot stretch.
Doesn't need to be perfect, but this is off road conditions.
Alder Carlton Staggers is nowhere to be found. How long does it take to get a permanent repair?

In reference to 1109379 on 6/5/14, a resident acknowledged that the RWA completed its work: "In front of this location road has sunken several inches- 3 feet -by entire width of lane. Other spot is around corner on Valley prior to school entrance about 2' x 2'. Public Works says "they" will be getting to it, where "they" is undefined. The water company has patched all of their work just 10 ft away from 141 Valley. Not sure if PW may be confusing this and other patches with the other work done by Water Co. in same area."
I am sending out another water company technician to check in this area, but we believe the area we are responsible for has been restored.

You can talk to Jeff Pescosolido or Alder Furlow. Yes the 2' x 2' spot by the school entrance has been fixed and the water company has patched all their work that is 10 ft from 141 Valley, However in front of 141 Valley some asphalt was thrown in (Jeff said he would do that until it was fixed) and Jeff also said it was to be repaired by RWA and your comment above from 5-14 states;
"There is a patch in front of 141 Valley Street in New Haven that will be hot-patched by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority within a month. Paving must be performed during optimal weather conditions, and the RWA has a substantial number of repairs that will be made over the coming weeks due to the extreme weather we experienced this past winter. We apologize for the delay in completing the restoration work and hope you will bear with us for just a few more weeks."
Please walk the 10 feet from those patches to in front of 141 Valley and you can't miss it, by your own comment you acknowledge that spot exists and it was to be hot patched. You can talk to Jeff or Alder Furlow who have been on top of this issue. The work was done by a sub contractor in July of 2013- Please call Barbara Perrotti at the building department and she can give you all the permit information.
This was confusing at first for all involved because of all the work done in front of the two new houses.
If this is not a RWA issue please post so that the proper powers that be can be informed. Thank You.
