  • 4706-4798 10th Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11219, USA - Borough Park
Yeshiva double parks bus all the time and arrogant rabbi do nothing
  • 900 West End Ave. New York, NY 10025, USA - City Council District 6
Regardless of the outdoor temps, heat delivery in this building is at 5 am, 12 pm and 9 pm - period. This is clearly an outrageous flaunting of the NYC heat regulations. (And heat was not delivered at all until well into November.)
  • 379 Ocean Parkway Brooklyn, NY 11230, USA - Borough Park
    Sanitation left behind
  • 640 Pelham Parkway South New York, New York - Morris Park
I believe this intersection was modified in the past year or so. There is now a lane to go straight (marked with 1 arrow on the pavement) and a lane to go right (also marked with 1 arrow). Well, either people don't pay attention or can't see the arrows when there is traffic, because people are constantly going STRAIGHT from the RIGHT TURN lane!! This will clearly cause an accident at some point if it hasn't already! I even got stuck running a red light yesterday because someone cut me off from the right hand turn lane! There needs to be more signs here so people know what's going on!! Would be better too if the lanes were actually lined up properly, so you didn't have to move over to the left to get into the lane to go straight and then go back to the right.
  • 132 Nevins St. New York, Brooklyn - Boerum Hill
The NYC Dept. of Environmental Protection has trucks digging up Nevins Street and closing off traffic. As a result, trucks and buses cannot make the unexpected turn onto Dean St. and currently a big bus is stuck in the intersection, causing traffic tie-ups and a cascade of honking horns - right outside of an elementary school and residential area. When we asked the DOEP manager on the job (sitting in his idling truck, said his name was Jefferson) to close off the street or signal to driver that there is work ahead to avoid traffic jams, he belligerently said it wasn't his problem. This is unsensitive, unresponsive city government at its worst!
  • 1779 Madison Avenue New York NY 10035, USA - East Harlem
    Since 10pm 2/12/2014
  • 5968 Major Deegan Expressway New York, New York - High Bridge
It seriously looks like a bomb went off on this area of the Deegan! Right by Yankee stadium and the shopping center, the middle lane and right lane especially are ridiculous! You can't even avoid the potholes. I can't believe they haven't repaved this yet!
  • 1072 51st Street Brooklyn, NY 11219, USA - Borough Park
    White container there for months
  • Pelham Parkway South New York, New York - Morris Park
This intersection is a MESS! The traffic coming off the Bronx River Pkwy Northbound is supposed to yield to traffic on Pelham Pkwy, but most of the time they don't! They'll force their way over the lines on the road because they're trying to make the left turn onto Route 1. Who thought joining all these roads right here was a good plan?! And it's not clear whether I'm allowed to go to the right of the split to the Pelham Pkwy "service road" or whatever ti's called (again not good planning, the roads are so confusing here). You end up having about 3 lanes of traffic going into one and everyone racing to get there. Why not at leastt have separate lights for the people already on Pelham Pkwy and those coming from the exit ramp?
  • 11-30 45th Road Queens, NY 11101, USA - Sunny Side
I live in a three apartment building in Long Island City, an area that is now commanding a higher rent and the temperature NEVER reaches 68 degrees during the day and teeters around 55 at night. When it's 20 degrees out, that's pretty foul. The other day he turned the radiator to my room on and I thought it was a dumb mistake on my part but it's ALWAYS COLD in here. I realize that people on this site have worse issues, and I'm sorry to insult you, but when you pay someone 30 grand plus a year for an apartment with slanty floors and walls that crumble if you look at them funny, you expect heat.
