  • Canner St & Prospect St New Haven Connecticut - Prospect Hill
Someone is going to die or get seriously injured. Propect and Canner St needs an actual pedestrian signal light or even flashing lights (such as the ones on Whitney Ave and Audubon St) to alert drivers of pedestrians. Receiving complaints from neighbors attempting to cross the street with small children. Traffic is relentless at this intersection.
  • Winchester Ave & Huntingtonst New Haven, Connecticut - Newhallville
Request for Flashing caution light such as the one on Winchester and Starr St.. a 4 way stop sign and a traffic study- 3 accidents in area in January near misses daily according to neighbors. Between this block and Winchster and Bassett excessive speeding exists and is a danger- this is also near the Albertus Magnus College parking lot entrance and a city bus stop -

  • Fort Hale New Haven, Connecticut - East Shore

    (Tweed Airport)

There are constant accidents due to people flying through the stop signs as if they are not there. Maybe if there was flashing lights and/or signage that said oncoming traffic SLOW DOWN etc. it may make a difference. Again this is at Fort Hale and Burr Street (s)

  • 100 Church St. South New Haven, Connecticut - Hill
The corner of Amistad and 100 Church St. South is a very dangerous area for pedestrians. There are cars turning from every corner and in the evening, many people cross Church St. to get to their vehicles in a remote lot across the street (near the church). These folks do not cross in the cross walk and cross diagonally across 4 lanes (2 each way) of traffic in the dark. I think there needs to be an elevated walkway (or two) to keep these pedestrians out of harms way.

17–99 Page St New Haven 06512, United States - Annex
There is no Stop Sign or Stop Line on eastbound Page Street where it terminates at Huntington Avenue. I was almost hit yesterday by a driver that said, hey there’s no Stop Sign so they don’t have to stop. There may never have been a Stop Sign there. I called this in to the Street Dept.
